grass with particle system
Hi,
I am painting my grass with unity terrain system. I have 47 different ground textures and i would like to add flower dust to some of these textures(grasses). I cant do this manualy because attaching every particle system prefab to every flower on terrain is very time consuming. So how could i acomplish this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

If you want to add flower dust GameObjects to this terrain, juste select the terrain, into the terrain component click on the flower icon (between trees and gear icons) and then click on Edit Details... and select Add Detail Mesh. In the popping window add your flower dust GameObject in the first slot named Detail and then click Add.
You should be able to paint it now on your terrain.
I know this but the point is i didnt found any way how to make a prefab of (flower 2d texture) and (flower dust particle system) and then use this as a detail mesh or grass texture ? I dont want to use 3d object for grass just to be clear.
Aw, I misunderstood sorry. So, you have to Add Grass Texture ins$$anonymous$$d, but I don't understand what your particle system does.
I think you should create a prefab of it by creating a Quad 3D mesh in order to add it your texture with a new material and then add a particle system to it. This way you will be able to create a Prefab with your particle system and your 2D texture displaying on a Quad.
