export max to unity ???
Hello I have a problem with my car model. after export it fbx format. unity can't import body part. its missing
but when i open the model with other application like QuikTime, the FBX file work fine.
really i don't know the porblem with unity. can someone help me.thanks
Can you send me you model? Which Unity are you using?

The problem appears to be the NORMALS for the chassis (outside part im not a car guy so im not sure what's best to call it).
1st try to export the model as a .OBJ file and see if it still appears (sometimes OBJ's are exported with different settings).
If that works then your good, but im assuming there is a specific reason you wish to use FBX (animation etc), so perhaps try to reverse the normals on your model.

have you tried importing to unity and then RUNNING it sometimes unity doesn't show some things in the scene view or game view till played
