exporting spline based animation from 3d max? help please
i am exporting an animation from max 2012 with spline based animations, the .fbx exporter seems to say it wont accept lines in the export. is there a way around this? i've clicked the bake mesh option in the exporter but that deosnt change a thing.
Did you ever figure out an answer to this? I am having the same problem. I tried taking my animated spline and Lofting a circle along it, and then exporting it, but that doesn't work either.
Basically, I animated a spline, and I want it to look like a piece of wire wrapping around an object.
