Shading with cube maps on iPhone 3GS for Unity 3 beta
Hello everyone,
I know that iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 has OpenGL ES 2.0, which support cube maps. After reading this comment, I was wondering if Unity 3 beta already has support for OpenGL ES 2.0. We'd really like to use cube maps on the builds for 3GS and above, and drop shading altogether on iPhone 3G and below. Is this possible using Unity 3 beta? Has anyone tried doing this before?
Thanks a lot,
Kijun

Yes, you will be able to do that with Unity 3.
Exactly what I wanted to hear! Can we do this with the current Unity 3.0 beta build?
