Sci Fi Racing Controls and Physics?
Hi, I have been wondering for a while now about how I could replicate the control/player system used in racing games like F Zero GX and wipEout. The way this works is; the player controls a racing vehicle that speeds up on a button press is able to turn left and right. One of the big issues I have is making the player stay attached to certain parts of the track, for example; having the player racing on the underside of a pipe but they are still able to launch off a ramp. Another example could be the inside of a pipe and the player can drive on the ceiling. So can anyone help me with creating a script for the controls and the "defying of gravity" feature?

How are you going to move: Character controller vs Rigidbody vs Transform.
2D or 3D paths
Complex physics or simple collisions
etc.
