Light issues with OpenGL ES 1.x in Android
Since my Galaxy Y doesn't have support for OpenGL 2.0 (Actually I can run an application using OpenGL 2.0 but I get some strange artifacts sometimes, specially when some LineRenderer is in the scene) I need to use OpenGL 1.x to compile the .apk, the problem is that some objects seems to not being affected by lights. My game is an A.R game and the base (the model which is on image target) is rendered like if everything was fine with the lights, but the enemies start to come in with almost an entire black color.
What can be causing this? The mobile should run the .apk with OpenGL ES 2.0 even if it doesn't support such a version? And how can I pass through this light problem? Is related to some OpenGL ES 1.x limitation?
Are you using your own (or custom) shaders? If yes, didn't you write those shaders for gles 2.0 devices?
