Link particles to make a 2D polygon
Hi, I'd like to make a 2D polygon that links every particle, but the closest I can get is just random triangles linking every particle..
What's the best way to do it ?
make a 2D polygon that links every particle
Your question is pretty vague. You can't create a convex polygon by using every point there (at least not as you've posted there).
So what is it you're actually trying to accomplish? Find a $$anonymous$$imal convex polygon that covers your particles? If that's the case, you might want to do some reading on convex hulls.
You can probably bastardize the Convex property of a mesh collider to have Unity do this for you (do $$anonymous$$d the 255 triangle limit), but I don't think it's something you should expect a UnityAnswers forum goer to drop into your lap -- although Bunny does that sometimes ...
Yeah that's exactly what I'd like to make, sorry for the lack of details !
Can you tell me more about your solution please ?
Thanks
