Is it legal to use internet models
Is it legal for me to use models from the unity fps tutorials thing in my game? I am not making money from it and I gave credit in the license.
If they have copyright you have to put there name or company or you will have problems. if no rights then you do not have to do anything.

According to http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/32400-Ethical-use-of-Unity3D-made-templates-in-own-games?p=211285#post211285 it is legal. However, check for licensing information included in the package first. Also: this is just my general advice. When it comes to legal stuff, best consult a lawyer to be on the safe side. Copyright law is a god damned minefield.

I believe it should say in the license text file when you download it.

Any assets from the Unity Technologies-created projects can be used in your own projects, with no restrictions except they must be used in Unity. Models from elsewhere can only be used if you have a license to do so.
