Problems with a racing game level.
Hi!
I'm supposed to do an assignment for school, where I replace all the audio files in one level of a game. I picked a racing game for this, and I have been provided with all the files in the project. Problem is, when I open it in Unity, I get an error that the project needs to be updated to the newest version of Unity, and I think this is breaking it, because when it opens I can't see anything in the scene view. Replacing sounds works though, I just make the new ones and put them in the assets folders, and when I build the game it does run with the new sounds. But some of them aren't playing and the music is not syncing (it's a layered thing with 3 levels of intensity, the 3rd layer isn't playing in sync), so I need to actually mess with those in Unity and I can't see anything in the Inspector that would let me edit this, since I can't see the objects in the scene view, and thus I can't select them. Help? I'm providing a picture of the error screen: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2776684/error.png
Sometimes opening a new project or project you haven't opened in a while, the unity engine will not know what scene to start you off with and you have to manually select it. I would suggest installing the older version of unity that the game was created on so it doesn't break anything, it probably won't, but for better practice and so you don't have to go through and check everything I would just suggest dual installation of unity.
