Problems importing an .mb file from maya
I installed maya on my machine and put my friends model into the assets folder. He was following a long at 3dbuzz and was making a ball and a wall and a floor. For some reason the wall is the only thing that actually appears in the file in game mode. It is puzzling because the ball and the other objects are there in the file but are not showing. What should i do? I installed the latest fbx plug in and this did not aid my problem.

Also try to Reverse Normals and Freeze Transformations before exporting.
Sometimes not reversing normals can lead to some objects not displaying properly due to backface culling.

Try saving the .mb file as a Maya ASCII file (.ma). The FBX importer tends to be pretty fussy with Maya Binary (.mb) file conversion.
