              How to make a camera recoil system
I am making an FPS game, and I am trying to implement realistic recoil. I was wondering if anyone could show how this is done and or how to make the camera smoothly return to its original rotation. At the moment when you fire it does a transform. rotate(recoilStrength,0,0) but this obviously only adds the recoil and does not bring it down. I have tried using lerps and slerps however I can not get them to work. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
