do I need unityPro for iphone development?

If you go to the Unity store, this question answers itself.

When you select "Unity" as your base product, all options except "iPhone" are greyed out. Therefore, you can develop with Unity for iPhone without the Unity Pro license. However, since you've said "unity iphone advanced", I assume you mean iPhone Pro, which does require Unity Pro.
