Object detection

INFO......So I am new to unity but understand basic scripting. I am working on a project that is made up of a plane 6x6 and has falling blocks fall towards the plane (sound familiar). It will be similar to Tetris only you will be filling a cube instead of a square. The Block pieces are made up of 4 cubes that are in a prefab.

Question..... I would like some help on how to make the rows know when it is full so I can then do things like make the ones in the row disappear and add points ect...

l8r .. o sweet thanks triggers will work.I guess I totaly overlooked the (trigger box) in the inspector which prevented me from using that option lol. I found this site very helpfull in reguards to Triggers http://gardensandmachines.com/Gamedesign/03_TriggerTutorial_CB.pdf

Just in general terms to help you get started learning about Unity.

Look in to "triggers" .. make yourself a little collider that is a trigger. You can place one in one of your logical locations. Add a script that tells you whether there is something there or not. Hope it helps!
