How can I get deep info on configuration of Unity networking?
I'm trying to get some concrete info on the way that the underlying Raknet implementation supporting Unity Networking is configured. The kinds of things I want to know are how the Reliable UDP mechanism works (when / if it ever gives up for example), how big the buffers are in Buffered RPC calls, is there a heartbeat, how is disconnection detected - these kinds of things. I've tried going to the Raknet site which of course has a ton of information, but it depends exactly how Unity devs have used Raknet under the covers (which Raknet reliable UDP mode is being used for example). Is this information available anywhere?
Unity RPC is lossless. When it gives up, for instance due to a timeout, it's the same as disconnecting. I don't think that information has ever been needed before, however some more advanced people might know the answers to the rest of your questions :)
Perfect example - it gives up after a timeout - how long a timeout? Can we configure it?
