How to create a page that opens for a few seconds then closes?

Hi there. I am trying to create a game in Unity. I already have the game file and the main menu file linked, but I what to add a 'Boot' screen that opens before the main menu. I also want to make the menu fade out when I click the 'Play' button, and for the game screen to fade in when it opens. Any help please?
