crossdomain.xml Unity 3.0
Please help!
Read most of the posts on crossdomain.xml policy to place on web server for unity 3.0 and on socket server. I have posted crossdomain on smartFoxServer dedicated box and it still gives me an error message on compile in the client side run mode. Is there an example page on how to do this?
Is there example code for cross domain xml and the specific file name?
Why would this crossdomain.xml for flash not conflict with the Unity 3.0 cross domain?
We have crossdomains.xml for flash on several servers with slightly different syntax. Is there a way to edit the policy name the unity web player is looking for so there is not a conflict?
Are there player side settings that need set in addition to loading the crossdomain file?
Also in one of the posts I seem to remember seeing a post that Unity 3.0 would not work with the free version of smartfox with the Island chat demo? Is this true (I think that was on the smartfox site)?
hard to make one answer with all those questions in one, perhaps you would consider to split it into more questions and secondly doing a little formatting, so we can read it easier?
I spaced the questions out so they would be easier to read. They are all related I have looked at separate postings with the hopes of finding answers to each of these. I think people that are looking for answers to one of these may also be interested in answers to all of them.
Answers to several of these questions can be found here: http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/$$anonymous$$anual/Security%20Sandbox.html
