Connecting an iPad to a TV
Hopefully this is a quick and easy question to answer. I have an app built with Unity on my iPad. I want to show it on my HD tv. I've read about a lot of problems with the composite connecter from the iPad to the TV not working for every application. It sounds like this is something enabled in the app according to the reviews. Do I have to do anything in unity to enable the video output or will it be automatically enabled? I just want to know before I buy this connector.
Thanks!
I haven't got an iPad but there's an option to support native resolution in the player settings

The answer is to jailbreak your iPad and get an app that lets you mirror your display. This worked just fine and the unity app shows up just like everything else does.

You don't have to jailbreak your phone at all. Just grab https://github.com/robterrell/TVOutManager and integrate it into your project.
