Problem importing assets from Cinema 4D Studio Demo
I have a model I'm trying to import from Cinema 4D R13.017 Studio Demo for use in a learning/experimenting project. According to Unity documentation, I should be able to save the .c4d in my assets folder, but I just get a "Import Settings" type file when I do this, and can't actually use the .c4d at all (double clicking it opens it in Cinema 4D, dragging into the scene view does nothing).
I tried manually making a .fbx using the exporting tool in Cinema 4D but dragging the .fbx into the scene results in a "off" model, and the texture is inside-out. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this or why it may not be owrking?
