Texture type, GUI or Texture
Hi,
Whats the best texture type to use on iOS GUI or Texture, I've noticed if I set to GUI they are much crisper than Texture even with the Aniso level turned up, but will setting my textures to GUI have a performance hit ?
I'm using a mix of some 1024x1024 atlas, some 1024x1024 singles and 512x512 singles.
Thanks.

There isn't any "best"; you use whatever's appropriate. "GUI" and "Texture" are just shortcuts...change to Advanced to see what the actual settings are. e.g., GUI turns off mipmaps, which you generally don't want to do if you're using textures on 3D objects. However there's no reason to use mipmaps for typical GUIs, hence the name.
