Bad performance with unity 4 games

I'm not making a game or anything but I have no idea where else to ask

For some reason every single unity game always runs really poorly. I usually end up getting only a 30fps or less even on low settings (usually less). And this happens with ALL unity 4 engine games even if I meet every single minimum requirement. I've also downloaded the UE4 prerequisites but it only helped a minuscule amount

For an example, I meet every single minimum and recommended requirement for killing floor 2 but I still get really poor performance on low settings

specs:Radeon R9 M290X, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710MQ CPU @ 2.50GHz and am running an AMD radeon driver
