Rendering sun-shafts even when light is not in view.
Hello there, Is there a way to have the sun-shafts effect get rendered even when the light that is causing it is not directly in view?
(Visible from this viewpoint)
(But not visible from here, which is what i would like to avoid)
Sure. Photoshop. Gradient faded lines of color. $$anonymous$$y game $$anonymous$$m did something like that it looked pretty cool.

That system generates shafts based on planes, so it can mimic light shafts and does not require a light source, you can view the shafts from all angles.
