androidslowstartupinitialization
Android: slow at start, then speeds up. Can the initialization be forced?
When my game starts, it is very jerky, as if perhaps it was uncompressing or paging in content the first time it is used.
After a minute or so of play, everything is fine.
Is there some way to force whatever is happening to happen all at the start (I'll put up a "loading" screen)? If I knew what it was doing, I could probably even do it manually (eg. have a dummy object with every texture, or whatever it is).
I don't want players giving up on my game before it starts playing smoothly.
