Minimum required files in a Unity Project
I'm trying to ship a Unity project as an example of our plugins. Apparently the project needs to contain no generated files by Unity to save space. But I found that the Library/cache and Temp folder seem to contain essential assets files, without which it seems my project no longer runs across machines.
So I wonder what folders/files in a Unity project is absolutely needed. I assume Assets, ProjectSettings are among the required. But I'm really not sure about Library and Temp.
Could anyone share some ideas? THanks.
I'm not even sure a ZIP of the directory structure of a Unity workspace is a fully supported distribution mechanism. When ever I wish to share projects with others, I send a Unity Export Package file and ask them to add the package to a new/empty project.
