Question by VIamusic · May 25, 2012 at 01:43 AM · gamemacinstallationopen

Unity Wont show up on Mac

I recently downloaded Unity 3d. When I open a scene it says that the scene is open but the window doesn't appear on my screen. Im using the Angry Bots scene that comes with Unity. For instance, I go into Show All Windows and it says Angry Bots.unity or something along those lines but nothing shows up. I also tried going to gameobject and pressing add gameobject. After that it appears I made an edit because when I try to quit unity it says Would you like to save your changes to Angry Bots? Im doing another reinstall any help would be sufficient.

Could it just be that your Scene and Game windows weren't up? If so try Command+1 and Command+2 to show them.

Nope I tried that. I really want to use Unity as my game engine but its beco$$anonymous$$g a huge problem. I tried doing what you said but it didn't change anything. I go to open scene and I click Angrybots.unity then nothing comes up. Ive tried reinstalling unity 3 times. Any ideas?

Oh, it could also be that the camera is just not pointed at anything. Trying double clicking on a gameobject in the hierarchy window.

I cant click on anything. I guess you could say the window with everything in Unity is invisible. I dont mean that the camera isn't pointing at anything I mean that the Unity window where you do everything is invisible. Its still there just invisible. Ive deleted everything to do with Unity off my computer and will do a fresh install later. Im not sure wether this is just my computer or the actual Unity program.

Change your window/layouts that will fix the problem.
