3DSMAX > FBX Question: Spline Based Animation Controller to FBX?
I use "Path Constraint" in Motion Panel, to give Sprites a nice Animation Sequence. But it's not exportable via FBX! How do i break the Spline Animation Keys in 3dsmax, so i can export in FBX?

I found out that the fbx exporter CAN export spline based animations! Just press the BAKE option in FBX exporter! By doing this FBX Exporter sets only the necessary keys and interpolates them. =) cool!

You could try dropping the .max file directly into Unity - the Asset Pipeline supports the .max file format, and it may be able to read your animation data that way. If not, then the Unity Asset Importer isn't compatible with that particular feature of 3DS Max.

In 3ds max go to trajectories in motion panel and use "collapse transform" to turn the animation to keyframes. It is a bit of a hidden unknown menu.
