Is it possible to record video on the iPhone or Android with Unity?
iVidCapPro is another option for iOS. It's free and includes the source code. You can find it here:

Prime31 offers several unity plugins for iphone, They don't yet offer any video recording plugin presently, but you should contact them for a quote, if your project is large enough, you can absord the developement costs.
They are working on an augmented reality plugins, which implies getting video , so they can do that already, and are about to release such plugins anyway, whether it will simply allow to capture video or not, that I don't know.

I did not downvote you actually o.O ... Prime31 is a useful link, but does not answer the question on whether it is possible to capture gameplay in unity mobile, so i imagine others saw that as offtopic advertising

@Fattie it's possible to grab screenshots using something like http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/ScriptReference/WWW-texture ... streamline a bunch and you get videos. n.b., the frame rate isn't that stellar ... you can use the vuforia (previously qualcomm augmented reality aka qcar) plugin to get video for free... as well as 3.5's new webcam features that also work on mobile
We use a device called Game Capture HD from Elgato. The beauty of it is that it works for several platforms, records in fluid HD from iPhone 4S and up. That doesn't answer the actual question either but might be helpful for you or someone else stumbling upon this.
