UWP - Performance Issue for Xbox One...
Hi Everyone, I am running my game on the Xbox One via UWP and am getting some poor performance, which surprises me, because it's much worse than my 4 year old laptop. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be happening? I have heard that when running on Xbox with UWP (Windows Store), when it's pushed through Visual Studio directly to the Xbox, that you don't actually have access to the Xbox's full power. If that's true, does anyone know how to best test a game on Xbox to test the true performance?
Thanks!
In doing a little more research, I found this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/xbox-apps/system-resource-allocation
In here it states some of the limitations, a key one being that you only have access to 45% of the GPU. I am guessing that this could have a pretty significant performance impact when using UWP vs a regular build.

I also have the same problem. One graphics engine being used built UWP deployed to the XBOX One runs low frame rate.
I feel this is some build setting issue that i am missing, why does the xbox not use all its graphics engines?
