UI.Text glitch when building for iOS device
Has anybody encountered a glitch on UI.Text like that seen on the video link? In the Editor everything looks great, but when I build for iOS I periodically see screen artifacts over the UI.Text elements. It happens maybe once every five minutes or so and lasts just long enough to be confusing.
I suspected that maybe it is being caused by having multiple Canvases, each with a CanvasScaler attached. Since I am building for iPad and iPhone, I was using Scale With Screen Size with a Reference Resolution of 2048x1536 for iPad Air. When I scale this down to 1136x640 for an iPhone 5S, you start to see it, so I thought the Canvas Scaler might be the culprit but I am not sure.
I tried changing the Sort Order of the Canvases but to no avail. Any ideas on how to work around this issue?
This is still using Unity 4.6.8f1 since I was afraid to move to Unity 5 in mid-development.
