3rd Person Controller - Rotate the model?
I am new to Unity and am currently trying to create my first game, learning along the way. I think that now I've stumbled on every possible problem that can occur when you're using Blender models in Unity. However, solution for my newest issue proved elusive so far.
I have created a model in Blender 2.62 (low polygon Teutonic knight). It is rigged and has animations. I've imported in to Unity and it is working pretty well right how. Except when I use it as a character controller. I've attached 3rd person camera and controller scripts to it (standard assets) - I can control it, the camera follows... but he's facing the wrong way. I've tried rotating the model on the scene, but it doesn't work. I've tried rotating the mesh, armature, I've tired putting everything in a container object and rotating it - still no effect. I've even tried rotating it in Blender, which of course should work, but so far even this doesn't seem to have any effect. (Object -> Mirror -> Global)
Can someone tell me if and how a model can be rotated for the purpose of 3rd person character controller? Inside Unity, if possible.
