Rigidbody slides across surface
I've searched high and low for a solution for this and attempted many suggestions but to no avail.
I have a rigidbody character who slides when sitting on a moving platform. I've tried physics materials, parenting, adding forces to compensate for the moving platform and tried what I could to adapt the character motor's solution to moving platforms.
I should point out that setting the character to isKinematic can't be done as it's movement is based on adding physical forces.
Does anybody know any other potential techniques or methods that may resolve this?
Have you tried freezing rotation? Its under the rigidbody tab.
Tried that also. Character still slid from the platform moving or rotating.
The character needs to be able to move and rotate with the platform. I've tricked about with all inspector properties I could think of and have attempted scripting several solutions.
