UnityEditor.TextEditor.DrawCursor - MIssing Method Exception

I am shocked that the forums aren't ablaze with this error, because I am getting it with fresh Unity installs of the latest on two separate machines; one 32-bit windows 7 and the other 64-bit windows 7. When clicking on nearly anything in the Unity GUI, I get the following error:

MissingMethodException: Cannot find the requested method. UnityEngine.TextEditor.DrawCursor(System.String text) (at C:/BuildAgent/work/842f9557127e852/Runtime/Export/TextEditor.cs:819)

Clicking on the console window gives this error. Clicking in the Inspector gives this error. Clicking in the hierarchy gives this error. Remember that this is before I run anything I have written; this is all the Unity Editor window, not my code or MonoDevelop. Unity is borderline unusable in this state, and it seems like I'm the only one getting this. Has anyone else seen this? What can be done?

I installed Unity 3.1, which is quite an old version now, and everything appears to work once more. I would recommend going back to 3.2, Baxymus, until we get a better answer here.

I have the same problem, but this happened when I upgraded to unity 3.4 pro! I think the way to fix this is if someone who could has access to the newer versions of unity(3.3 or 3.4) should zip up this file and upload it. If they can't do that, put it as a code sample, for example : system.collections using unity engine public class blahblahblah : monobehavior(){ void somethingsomething(){ //something something something } }
