Unity OR Unreal for a simple interactive game ??
Hi guys
I m not a game developer, I'm a 3D Animator working in a software development company with zero knowledge in programming. Now in my company we have to do a new project which a simple game.
But this is not going to be a commercial game or anything just a interactive walkthrough game which explain technical stuffs about our future software.
So mostly users will walk inside a building and when they reach certain places or touch some objects we will show animations and explanations about that particular area or object. This isn't like showing certain static videos in different places. Entire explanations will be based on users actions. that's why we need a game engine to do this.
I have been given two options which are Unity and Unreal. And now I need to give a report which one to use and why. By checking both with out any game development knowledge I couldn't come to a conclusion.
I use 3D Max as my tool and our programmers mostly use C#
Can anyone tell me which is better for my requirements and why? thank a lot in advance.
