Async process to load data from url

Hello there. Can I load data from URL by asynchronous task or any other process? I develop the program loading 3D Object file from URL. I found the sample source read .obj file by vector value. This problem is too long loading .obj file. How can I load data asynchronous? Or Any other way? Thanks for read my question. Have a nice day.
