Video player crash in build but not in editor
I'm trying to use the VideoPlayer in Unity 5.6.1f1 to play a 2048x1024 360 mp4 video. In the editor, it works perfectly with almost no loading time but when I make a build it crashes right when I press play.
The log doesn't contain any errors. The videos are in the preloaded assets. When I check the Transcode option, the video become unusable like if Unity could not import them except if I lower the resolution, witch is not a solution I can use.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? It would be greatly appreciated.

I made some more tests:
I created an empty project with only a mesh with the video player. I made a build and there was no crash.
I tried to remove every object in the scene except the video player and the mesh, it still crashed in the executable version.
I deleted the ProjectSettings folder, it didn't work.
I switched to 5.6.3, then to 2017.1 but their was no improvement.
Also, I forgot to mention it is a VR project using SteamVR and VRTK.
Hi, did you find the answer? I have the same problem on android
