You shouldn't come in here asking how to do something that is incredibly generalized, like this. There's probably several dozen ways you could actually accomplish this task, and Answers is not the place to be asking for ideas for broad concepts on designs. This is a place for help with troubleshooting.
Try thinking of a more specific model (a rough concept that at least glazes over all the required components for the system you're building) then come back and ask if you need help establishing any of those components, after you've given them a shot, yourself.
