Animating a texture on an FBX import from Maya

Hi Guys,

I am a newbie to unity and I think I have a simple question. I have imported a mesh from Maya that has been baked with some animation. I would then like to animate over time, a series of images onto the object (similar to sprites) in unity i.e. I simply want to change the diffuse image of the material within the Animation dope sheet. Is there a better way to do this? I know you can drag and drop sprites from the sprites atlas when animating from scratch in Unity but how can I achieve the same effect on an imported FBX mesh.
