ProceduralMaterial Load Behaviour Issues

I've set my Procedural Materials to "Do Nothing", but they still generate on load and this locks the thread for a long time, I have 200+ procedural materials. This also happens before any scripts, even if a change the script execution order. I was hoping someone knew how to stop them from generating on load, without baking them(want to keep the file size to a minimum).
