Mobile optimised simple car physics? Any recommendation?
Hi, UnityAnswers members! I would like to know, what is the best approach for very simplistic car physics for mobile. I don't want to use the wheel collider and I don't really need it.
I want to fake the "physics" somehow with scripting. My cars have to be stable, and have to be similar to a Formula 1 car. Great downforce, good acceleration and effective braking. No need to realistic sliding sideways. Maybe it'll be scripted somehow.
It would be very simplistic, if I just need to make it for 2D movement, but I want to make my car work with slopes, elevation too. In some top down 2D games, it works well, except the elevation. My project will
I don't expect any source code, I want to program is myself, just need a little guide, advice, which is the most optimal, most stable approach for this.
