Build an iOS application for personal use without license (not planning to publish or sell)?
Hi everyone! I am building a VR application in Unity 3D that will eventually be used with Google Cardboard. I am using the app to conduct a psychological experiment wherein data from subjects can be collected remotely through use of their personal phones.
I am not planning on publishing or selling the application, but obviously would need to build it so that it can be distributed to subjects, and so that data can be stored automatically & accessible to me only. The plan is to develop the App for iOS and Android.
I am working from a free Unity account on a Windows computer. I recall from another forum that I will need the Unity Cloud Build Service to build for iOS without a mac. But do I need a license? And, will I need separate licenses for both platforms? Is there anything else that I am not considering? I am a newbie if it is not obvious :~)
Any help or advice is appreciated!
