Click to Move
I am looking for an effective click to move user control that I can implement in a birds eye or even slightly angled birds eye view. I checked the Click To Move script that unity's community has. However I found the script to be practically useless as it did not take into account either collision or the Y position, by Y position I mean it has a fixed plane and is useless in uneven terrain. I tried adding rigid bodies to the object controlled by the click which resulted in a very undesirable bouncing. I can fix the Y position to prevent the bouncing but then again the Y value is rendered useless(Preventing practical application to uneven terrain).
The desired effect is a "walking" along the terrain or even on objects with collision boxes directed by a mouse click. I am also looking for a practical path finding solution for when the player clicks on the opposite side of a obstacle. I looked into Path by AngryAnt and was able to generate a path but unable to make objects follow the path.
Any Suggestions?

AngryAnt is probably your best shot for smart click pathfinding without writing something from scratch. You could also look at the Standard mobile assets, look for the tap movement script, and convert the taps to mouse click, but of course, you don't get the A*.

I have read that Angry Ant is a good possibility but i have been unable to practically implement it. I also have not been able to find any tutorials or useful documentation on having an object follow the generated path.
