Sniper Scope?

Well i don't know how to classify this question.. some people say meta, other say it's unity related.

would it be possible to create a sniper zoom effect by attaching a camera to the rifle, reducing it's field of view and lerping it to screen's center (while activating the scope camera instead of the main one)?

i'm thinking about starting a little private FPS project and need to know some things ^-^

I don't know, maybe it's a 200 rep thing, or maybe you can always retag your own post? Did you try with someone else's post? Not quite sure honestly, there're still some things with the rep system that are unclear to me since the switch to QATO. :-/

Take a look at this script on the Unity Wiki

It should point you in the right direction :)
