Unity Remote - Connection problems
Hi all
I'm trying to work with unity remote with Android ICS on a tablet but it doesn't work..
When i start play, I see the same message on tablet: "Connect this device with USB cable to your computer and play the game in editor"
Anyone know what is the problem?
P.s I'm using the free licence of unity
The free version of Unity doesn't support android development.
I don't want to make the app, I only want to use unity remote with android..
UnityRemote details says that doesn't require the android licence, so the problem must be something else
Once you have connected your device have you tried closing and reopening Unity?
Yes.. This is all my steps:
1 - Install Android Sdk from website
2 - Install all extras from Android Sdk (includes Google USB Drivers) and Android 4.0 (API 14)
3 - PC reboot
4 - Open Unity and select the Sdk folder
5 - Connect the usb to Tablet and open UnityRemote
6 - Reboot Unity
7 - Press Play
This is not working

I've solved it: it was OS problem.
I've installed the original OS, not the preinstalled and GoogleUSBDrivers now works. Now I have to solve only low resolution
Thanks to all for answers
Sometimes, productors create tablets or phones with a modified android and sometimes it needs the usb drivers. So, just find drivers that works with your device and it will work
