How do I fix the input delay on Unity for Mac?
Hi everyone,
I have a problem on my MacBook Pro Mid 2014 with maxed out specs regarding Unity in general. When I am in the scene- and game view of any project and try to do anything with my mouse (e.g. rotate the scene view camera, scaling a collider or playing the game), it has an input delay of an inconsistent amount of time. This only happens in the editor of my MacBook and not when I build the game or work on the project on another PC.
The project occurred after I updated my Mac, but it can also be something totally unrelated. I was on the developer Beta of macOS Catalina when it still worked, but after updating after to a new beta version it occurred. So I updated from Beta to Beta.
I have already tried to update to the stable release of Catalina (non-beta) and emptied the GI cache.
I did notice that when I tried to record the gif using Giphy, the problem was non-existent. To show it, I needed to record using QuickTime and then record it with the Giphy recorder.
Is anyone else also experiencing this and what can I do about this problem? It makes working on the project fairly impossible since I'm working on movement...
