Particles falling/pushing through walls
I have this fully enclosed room that I created with mesh planes in Blender that looks like the following image:
All sides are enclosed and I turned Generate Colliders on for the model so it can interact with objects physically. I added a particle emitter system into the room and turned the particle collision on and set it to collide with everything.
It starts off well, with the particles bouncing around the room, but after a couple of seconds the particles start to "leak" through the walls. I've checked the whole model and there aren't any holes or gaps that the particles could escape through. I also saw in another thread that particle leaks could be due to a thin wall, however I've tried creating a similar room with quite thick walls and it doesn't help.
The leaking is similar to that showed in this video.
Is it possible to prevent all particle leaks? I need every particle to stay within the room. Or would I have to create my own particles (small cubes)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure if particle physics are separate from the regular rigidbody physics, but try increasing the $$anonymous$$imum penetration distance to apply force, and maybe the solver iteration count. That plus thicker colliders should at least make it a bit better.
I've never worked with particles, are you able to increase the size of the particles collider as well?
