I cant open any scripts.

I installed Unity to my computer and I opened it, but when I first tried to create a javascript and open it I got this error.

Unable to open Assets/NewBehaviourScript.js : Check external application preferences.

I get the same error with .cs and .boo scripts.

I have tried to change the script editor from MonoDevelop to Notepad ++, it did not change anything. I have reinstalled Unity several times, and tried older versions of Unity, I even tried if restoring my computer to default settings would help, but I still get the same error.
