Simple shader question: let light affect all faces (remove occlusion?)
Hi all,
I am trying to learn the basics of shading and need help on the following issue:
Given a 3d object, is it possible to create a diffuse shader that doesn't occlude light?
With a normal light and 3d object, you have the following,
the dark face is away from the light.
What I need is instead that geometry doesn't occlude the light!
Sadly, with my current shader knowledge I don't even know what to start looking for, so please help!
Thanks.
