How to make colliders without using any of the inbuilt physics
I'm making a mine craft-type game and i keep getting the too many rigid body error when generating the map as the cubes are rigid bodies. So i need a way to give the cubes collision so the player doesn't fall through them but without using rigid bodies. Is it possible and if so how do i do it?

You don't need to make your cubes rigidbodies, they don't move. Rigidbody is needed only when your object with is going to move somehow. Your level cubes are static, so you can just remove all rigidbody components from them. You can also optimize the number of box colliders by "combining" the ones that overlap and create a box themselves.
i checked the cubes and they don't have a rigidbody collider they just have a box collider but the error message said "too many rigid bodies" which is why i got confused. Also combining the cube's colliders wouldn't work for me as i am using ray casting for breaking blocks and if it was all one collider it wouldn't break the individual cube.Is there any other solution please?
