Why do I get a funky render?
Hi,
I was importing my .fbx models from blender3d to Unity, but after importing the models got a wierd render.

As you can see the shadows are render along the tris of of the faces of the model. Does anybody know how to fix this?
It does dissapear when I have a smoothing angle of 0 on my import settings, but I want to have a little smoothing of my model.
Thanks for helping [1]: /storage/temp/21582-render+error.png

when importing a model, did you:
a) click the model and change the import parameters in the editor to calculate normals ? -> this is quite important. and b) create a prefab of it and copy the model into the new prefab. never use the model directly as it will have a lock on the inital model, and thats not good.
