What are the advantages of stereo sound effects?
With mono 3d sound effects the is source at a certain position in the scene. As the playback is stereo any "stereo dynamics" will be created by reverb zones, pan level and camera positions. So why should a sound effect then be stereo as the stereo is static within the sample. What are the best practices for sound effect regarding mono/stereo?
