how do you make a texture only show near edges at certain angles
In unity shadergraph i am working on a texture that shows grass on top and rock on the sides. the issue I'm running into is that i need the grass to "bleed" over the edge a bit so that there's a strip of grass fading out near the top.
obstacles to this. I can't lerp between grass and rock on the side based on world space because then the rock wouldn't appear above the world space grass is set to show up on. i also can't do this based on the object because once the shader is applied to larger terrain I'd have the same problem. i could add the grass onto the top section of the rock texture itself but then the rock texture wouldn't be repeating anymore.
the grass needs to bleed over the edge from places where the grass is already on top.
